Abstract:
The paper presents a semi-analytical solution of the time-dependent two-dimensional advective diffusion equation based on the discretization of the surface boundary layer (PBL) into N sublayers. In each sublayer, the advective diffusion equation is solved using the Laplace transform technique, taking into account the average value of the eddy diffusivity and the wind speed. The solution is semi-analytical since the real concentration of pollutants is found by numerically finding the inverse Laplace transform using the Gaussian quadrature method. The concentrations of air pollutants found by the ADMM method are compared with the concentrations found based on the Gaussian method for aerodispersion and with the results of measurements in experiments. The advantages and disadvantages of using the ADMM model in relation to the Gaussian model and other modern models that have been relevant in the analysis of aerodispersions of pollutants in recent years are stated.
